# Getting Started
## _➮_ Introduction
When you join the Creative Server you will find yourself in our Creative Realm Spawn area. This area was donated by a community member and is still under Active Construction. In the coming weeks you will see **new** Information Signs and NPCs that will introduce you and guide you through out the Creative Realm.
To simply get started, run straight down the path from spawn and jump into the portal to be teleported to the Creative Plots Realm. You will need to run or fly and find an unclaimed plot to claim for yourself and call "home"! \
\
_You can also use `/plot auto` when you are in the Creative Spawn to automatically claim and teleport to a random plot._

# Getting Started
## _➮_ Introduction
FreedomCraft Dungeons Gamemode is a Survival-Like RPG Gamemode with seemingly never-ending progression and rewards.
When you join the Dungeons Server for the first time you will find yourself in the Commoner Hall at spawn. This region will serve as the hub for all your RPG needs and can always returned to with <mark style="color:orange;">`/spawn`</mark>.
## _➮_ What to do?
If you are a novice/beginner Dungeons player, we recommend starting with the "Tutorial" NPC at spawn in the Commoner Hall.
Once you've established a base with resources and some farms to keep yourself fed, begin conquering our wide range of Dungeons to Level Up, Unlock Rewards and progress your way to the top of the leaderboards.

# BloodMoon Event
## _➮_ Introduction
A Blood Moon will begin every 8 in game days. They last for the entire night time duration, and players will be targeted by waves and waves of monsters. Players will be personally focused by randomized groupings of custom designed monsters of varying skills and strengths, and all at the same time rather than on a rotation.
To know when the darkest night is coming, it is recommended to check the Bloodmoon tab within /menu. Additionally, if you are on an instance, the Blood Moon countdown will be updated each day and each night leading up to the actual event. Also just ask a friend who is on the main Dungeons survival world!
## _➮_ What to do?
Blood Moons are challenging nocturnal events that are not to be taken lightly. Survival is unlikely, but if you are prepared you might just stand a chance to reap the rewards! Blood Moons will drop more Elite Coins than baseline dungeons, as there are more waves of weaker swarming creatures to provide that reward. Loot drops will also be easier to obtain, and with time more and more custom drops will be added to the Blood Moons.
If you feel as though you are unprepared for the event, or simply wish to not deal with it, we recommend that you jump on a dungeon instance around your level. You can still gain 2x McMMO experience for the duration even though you are not partaking in the event itself.\
\
If you want to take on the event for maximum benefit, it is recommended that you make an arena out of a blast resistant block type. Enemies will not spawn in the direction that you are looking, so make sure to leave room for them behind you. Ensure that your inventory is emptied of useless items before the event, and be sure to quickly grab all your coins and loot before it gets blasted by powerful minibosses and bosses!

# Dungeon Instances
## _➮_ Introduction
When you join the Dungeons RPG Server for the first time you will find yourself in the Commoner Hall at spawn. This region will serve as the hub for all your RPG needs and can always returned to with `/spawn`.
To simply get started running dungeons, use the command `/dungeons`
{% hint style="info" %}
_You can also use /warps or /teleports_ in place of _/dungeons_.
{% endhint %}
## _➮_ What to do?
If you are a novice/beginner Dungeons player, we recommend starting with the "Tutorial" NPC at spawn in the Commoner Hall.
If you are veteran/returning Dungeons player, simply use the new _<mark style="color:orange;">`/dungeons`</mark>_ menu to queue up and join your instance. When you are ready to return to the main world or queue up another Dungeon Instance, simply use _<mark style="color:orange;">`/quit`</mark>_ to return to the main Dungeons Survival World.

# Guild Ranks
## _➮_ Cost
The First Guild Rank you can purchase only costs 825 EliteCoins, as players progress through the ranks, the maximum tier of loot drops they receive will increase.
#### _➮_ EliteCoins Currency
[Elite Coins are an alternative form of currency specifically use for purchasing Guild & Prestige Ranks to progress and level up. Elite Coins can be obtained by killing Elite Mobs or Bosses, selling loot to the blacksmith in Spawn and by completing Dungeon Quests.](#user-content-fn-1)[^1]
## _➮_ How to Rank Up
On the 3rd floor of the Commoner Hall at Spawn, you'll find a Guild Attendant at the top of the stairs. At this NPC you can purchase your next rank and unlock higher tier EliteDrops, allowing you to get better loot and progress to more difficult Dungeons.
Once you have reached the Maximum Guild Rank, you can unlock the Prestige Ranks for additional perks, benefits and **even more** Guild Ranks to be unlocked.

# Item Stats
**What they are:**\
\
Stats are the essential defining factor for how strong a player is within the Dungeons game mode. They determine how much health, regen, attack damage, and attack speed that the player has. In order to progress, it is necessary to collect gear that has high levels of stats capable of both surviving and clearing Dungeon mobs and bosses!\
\
**What they do:**
Currently, we have four stats:
Strength - Defines attack damage
Dexterity - Defines attack speed
Vitality - Defines health pool
Vigor - Defines health regen, minorly helps increasing max health\
\
**How to get them:**\
\
Strength and Dexterity are obtained through weapons such as Swords, Axes, Tridents, Bows, and Crossbows. They are obtained through the Glove and Ring accessories.\
\
Vitality and Vigor are obtained through armor pieces such as Helmets, Chestplates, Leggings, and Boots. They are obtained through the Bracelet and Amulet accessories.\
\
In game, if you click your Stats item next to the four added accessory slots, you can see exactly where your stats are coming from in game.\
\
**Do you have good stats?**\
\
Determining whether an item has good stats is more than just asking about a piece of gear. Simply asking whether your Black Hills Sword is good or not will not get any useful answers. Stats for weapons like the sword follow this pattern:\
\
Strength: \<Actual Str Value> \[Roll (Distribution Number) x (Percentage Roll)]\
Dexterity: \<Actual Dex Value> \[Roll (Distribution Number) x (Percentage Roll)]\
\
The Actual Value refers to the true stat on the item, and all other numbers are there to explain how the item got that stat value. The Distribution Number refers to the overall distribution of the item and whether it is weighted more toward Strength or Dexterity. The Percentage Roll determines the overall quality of the item, with a higher number up to 100% being superior to any lower number going down to 0%.

# Prestige Ranks
## _➮_ Cost
<mark style="color:red;">**Everything!**</mark>
At least, everything related to EliteMobs. The player's current guild rank will be reset to 1, the coins currency will be wiped and all the players current soulbound items will no longer be usable.
This is quite interesting to see happen all at once when a fully equipped player activates the prestige while having all gear equipped, making it look like they're being born again.
{% hint style="danger" %}
If you'd like to showcase your previous prestige gear/sets, it is recommended you place the items in a Shulker, Item Frame or on an Armor Stand <mark style="color:yellow;">**prior**</mark> to purchasing your next prestige.
{% endhint %}
## _➮_ Benefits
Activating the prestige ranks will unlock the following in differing amounts, based on prestige level and guild rank level:
* Maximum health (starting from prestige 1)
* Chance to crit (starting from prestige 2)
* Chance to dodge (starting from prestige 3)
Additionally, players will gain more money per kill for each prestige tier they increase, but rank costs will also go up proportionately. This is to reward players for upgrading, but also to lower the incentive that a player might have to try to farm at a really high level and then find a way to use that money to speed through the ranks of the next prestige run.
A fully upgraded player can experience 120 max health (compared to the vanilla 20), 10% base chance to dodge, 10% base chance to crit and 15x currency multiplier.

## _➮_ Lobby

The hub is where most new players spawn. The hub is also where players are sent during each server's routine reboots. These reboots typically take a minute or two and you can join the server again shortly.

Straight ahead are NPCs (non-playing characters) you can click to join the game mode of your choice. You are also able to use the Nether Star in your hotbar to open a Navigation GUI.

Hovering over any icon will give basic information about each server and allow you to join. Each game mode is described within this wiki.
